Clay pigeon shooting, also known as clay target shooting, and formally known as Inanimate Bird Shooting, is the art of shooting a firearm at special flying targets, known as clay pigeons or clay targets.

What are your opening times?

Can I shoot on your shoot days without a shotgun license?
No, you require a shotgun license if you wish to shoot on your own. You will need to book one of instructors if you wish to take part in our shoot days.

Who is clay shooting suitable for?
Everyone! We are very keen to introduce more people to the sport especially juniors and have very experienced coaching staff keen to pass on their knowledge and help you to develop your inner ability.

What about safety?
At Park Farm we take safety extremely seriously. You will receive full safety instructions from an instructor before you even pickup a shotgun. Our safety rules apply whether you’re a complete novice or an experienced shot. Also alcohol must not be consumed before or during shooting.

Do I need training?
No it is not necessary before you come. If you are a novice you will have an instructor with you at all times during shooting.

Can I get refreshments?
Yes, drinks and snacks are available to purchase in the cafe.
8.
Do I need any special clothing?
No. We supply ear protection and safety glasses as part of your package. But we do suggest that you wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather conditions on the day.
